A LITTLE ABOUT US
Dogs on Holiday began with our own dogs, Flo and Kiko. We love them dearly and we know how difficult it can be to find somewhere you feel completely comfortable leaving your dogs when you go away.
So we decided to create the kind of place we'd feel happy leaving Flo and Kiko — a real home where dogs are surrounded by love, care and attention. That simple idea became Dogs on Holiday, our home boarding service in the Ochils, where visiting dogs can settle in, feel comfortable and enjoy their own little holiday too.

Alison
I bring many years of experience from running my own dog grooming business, where I cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, each with their own personality and individual needs. That experience taught me a great deal about understanding dogs and giving each one the patience and space the need to feel comfortable.
I am naturally caring and always looking for little ways to make a dog's day a bit happier —and I'm rarely far from a treat and a smile. For me, it's the little things — affection, reassurance and discovering what makes each dog happy — that help them feel truly at home.

Carlos
I have been around dogs for most of my life, from the pair of Doberman I grew up with to the German Shepherd I had later in life, and now Kiko. I have a calm, natural way with dogs and a particular interest in their behaviour and training.
But I am also the one for big adventures, playtime and plenty of silliness. Dogs seen to naturally gravitate towards me — and when the adventures are over, I am just as happy providing cuddles and affection on the sofa.
The Family Behind Dogs on Holiday
When your dog stays with us, they become part of our everyday life — so we think it is important that you know a little about the people they will be sharing their holiday with.
MEET FLO & KIKO

No introduction to our family would be complete without Flo and Kiko. Flo is our five-year-old Labrador and a true water lover. She has even managed to show Kiko, our Border Collie, just how much fun there is to be had splashing and playing around in the water — and these days, Kiko is quite happy to stay and enjoy it for a little longer too.
They both love a tennis ball, a stick or pretty much any toy that can be thrown and retrieved. At home they are calm and content to relax, but once they are outside, they're ready to play —whether that is a short walk nearby or a long run and adventure up in the hills.
And when it is time to settle down, they each have their own way for asking for affection. Flo loves nothing more than resting her head against your chest for a proper cuddle, while Kiko will happily turn upside down and wait for the belly rubs to begin.
What Home Boarding Means to Us
For us, home boarding means much more than simply giving your dog somewhere to stay. It means welcoming them into our home and everyday life, getting to know their personality, their routines and the little things that help them feel happy and settled.
Every dog is different. Some love long walks and adventures, others prefer a gentler pace. Some want to be right beside you, while others appreciate a little space of their own. We believe good care starts with understanding those differences and allowing each dog to settle at their own pace.
Above all, we want your dog to enjoy the kind of stay we would want for Flo and Kiko — comfortable, relaxed, full of affection and with plenty of opportunities for fun. Because while you might be away, we want it to feel their holiday too.
