When your dog comes to stay with us, they become part of everyday family life.
They will have the comfort of a real home, plenty of company, walks and outdoor time, play when they want it and, of course, somewhere comfortable to curl up and relax.
Whether they're staying for a night, a couple of days or a longer holiday, we want them to feel comfortable, settle into family life and enjoy a holiday on their own.
THE OUTDOORS, RIGHT ON OUR DOORSTEP
Living in Dollar means we are lucky to have the Ochils and plenty of lovely places to walk close to home.
Whether your dog enjoys a good adventure, a gentle wander with plenty of time to sniff, or simply some fresh air at their own pace, we will make their walks and outdoor time part of the routine that suits them.
Because a good stay is not about doing the same thing with every dog — it's about finding what makes your dog happy.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DOG
Before we welcome your dog for their first stay, we will arrange a Meet & Greet so your dog can get to know us — and we can get to know you both.
We will talk through their routine, personality, behaviour and individual needs, and complete their information and assessment form together. It's also an opportunity for your dog to explore or home, meet Flo and Kiko and see how everyone gets along.
If we are all happy that it feels like a good match, the next step is a trial overnight stay. This gives us the chance to make sure your dog is comfortable in our home, settles without their owner and is ready for a longer stay.
Because while you're away, this is their holiday too.
