Bookings and payment

We'll confirm your dates, price and payment deadlines in writing before you book. Special rates and arrival arrangements apply over Christmas and New Year.

A 50% deposit is normally required to confirm your booking, payable within 48 hours of our written offer unless we specify a different deadline.

​

The remaining balance is due before the agreed drop-off time:

• Stays of up to three 24-hour periods: 7 days before​

• Stays of more than three, and up to seven 24-hour periods: 14 days before

• Stays longer than seven 24-hour periods: 28 days before.

Bookings made on or after the applicable balance deadline require full payment to confirm. Trial nights are separate bookings and must be paid in full before they begin. Payments are made by bank transfer to our Monzo Business account. Refunds are normally returned to the same account used for payment.

Making sure your dog feels at home

​

Dogs on Holiday is a home boarding service where guest dogs live as part of the family alongside Flo and Kiko. To help us make sure home boarding is suitable and safe for everyone, we ask that:

​

• your dog is comfortable in a home environment and able to live safely alongside other dogs

• your dog is reliably house-trained

• routine vaccinations, kennel cough vaccination, flea and worm treatments are up to date

• you tell us honestly about any aggression, snapping, biting, guarding, escape behaviour or other behaviour we may need to manage

• you tell us about any health condition, medication or specific care needs

• you provide the information and documents we requested before the Meet & Greet.

For first-time dogs, a Meet & Greet and a successful Trial Night are required before a booking can be confirmed.
